Hi friends — we are so glad you are here.
BeeAtitudes is a small, in-town hobby farm and a true work in progress. We’re learning as we go. Some days are beautiful, some are humbling, and many are both.
It was born in a season of deep loss and unexpected beginnings — including one restless night that somehow led to ordering a colony of live bees.
What started as a late-night impulse became something much deeper.
My husband had passed away, and in the middle of grief, Jesus’ words in Matthew 5:4 became an anchor: “Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
The Beatitudes are a promise that blessings can live right alongside mourning. Jesus meets us not after we recover, but right in the middle of our need. And it’s important to notice — He doesn’t say if comfort comes, but that it will come.
God’s comfort is rarely loud or rushed. It is often steady, personal, and woven quietly into ordinary days.
This hobby farm has become part of that comfort.
Not because it is perfect or finished — it definitely isn’t — but because God keeps meeting me here. In the bees. In the soil. In the early mornings and long evenings. Here we are still learning humility, mercy, trust, and daily dependence on Him.
And I’m not building it alone.
My family has been an incredible source of strength and steady encouragement — especially my dad. He shows up with tools, advice, practical wisdom, and a willingness to tackle whatever project needs doing. More than that, he shows up with quiet support. His help has made fences straighter, projects sturdier, and hard days lighter. BeeAtitudes carries his fingerprints too, and I’m deeply grateful.
You’ll also meet my faithful labradors, Boaz & Selah. They keep watch over the property and watch over my heart. They are constant companions, enthusiastic helpers, and daily reminders of joy. They are part of God’s comfort too.
As we build this little farm while juggling a full-time job, we’ll be sharing:
- Beekeeping & Pollinator Life
- Chicken Rearing
- Gardens, Flowers & Growing Things
- Hobby Farm Projects & Simple DIY
- Encouragement for walking closer with Jesus and finding Christ in ordinary life.
Our prayer is that this hobby farm grows not only fruits, vegetables, and honey, but also gratitude in our hearts, kindness in our hands, and a deeper love for Christ in our daily lives.
May this little patch of ground be a place where faith takes root, where ordinary work becomes worship, and where God’s quiet comfort continues to unfold in His perfect timing.
If you are starting over, starting small, or simply wanting to grow deeper in faith right where you are — you are welcome here. There is room here for learning, for healing, and growing in God’s grace.
Thank you for being here and joining us on this journey.
